 As an HR Coordinator at Roar Digital, you will provide a variety of HR and Recruitment support to the Jersey City office. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 

Hiring

  • Assist the corporate recruiter in coordinating interviews for acceptable candidates
  • Source and screen candidates for hourly & associate level positions
  • Assist the Senior Recruiter in posting roles to internal / external websites as needed
  • In accordance with the hiring procedures, create and send employment offers
  • Ensure all background investigations and pre-employment documentation is completed
  • Support creation and implementation of social media posts as needed

Administrative

  • Create employment verification letters for staff
  • Enhance digital filing systems & organization of HR shared folders

Strategic

  • Assist in setting up corporate partnerships for discounts, perks, hotels etc.
  • Assist in developing company communications w/ oversight from the HRBP
  • Support development / update the employee handbook and any HR procedures as needed
  • Help to maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local labor law requirement
Specialist skills and experience:
 
  • Essential:

    • MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word - advanced level.
    • Highly organized and efficient.
    • Able to work to tight deadlines.
    • Maintains confidentiality and discretion at all times.
    • Courteous, friendly and tactful. Establishes rapport easily.
    • Ability to juggle priorities and escalate concerns to leaders appropriately
    • Possesses outstanding problem-solving skills, resourcefulness
    • Advocates company’s spirit and values at all times
    • 1-3 years of experience in fast-paced HR role

    Desired:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
    • Strong eye for detail
    • Proactive in identifying issues and suggesting solutions
    • Strong core values
