About The Role

The Head of Digital Trading & Client Analysis is an essential role in our sports trading function, they will report directly to the VP of Trading, and play a key role .

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the end to end Digital trading function of the US business across all sports. This commences at market creation, through price management and resulting.
  • Manage margin and responsibility for digital profitability.
  • Continue to grow product in terms of breadth of sports and leagues offered as well as depth of markets within event.
  • Responsible for surfacing and trading in play events held both in US and abroad.
  • Work with parent company, GVC, to enhance customer experience in Sports wagering and thus grow the number of active clients.
  • Manage and create a process for a young team of inexperienced US based traders.
  • Coordinate with trading teams in other time zones to provide world class product and UX twenty four hours a day.
  • Build, grow and create process for a completely new client analysis team.
  • Confer with quants team to refine algorithms for US centric Sports.
  • Work with Head of Retail sports to increase the crossover of retail clients to opening digital accounts.
  • Provide a tailored Mlife end experience for clients introduced from Mlife.
  • Constant training and updating of skills of Trading and Client Analysis team.
  • Ensure pricing is competitive and being published to market in a timely manner.
  • Work with risk team to identify and comply with all regulations in relation to RG, AML and payments
  • Coordinate with compliance to ensure only regulator approved events are published for wagering in specific States.
  • Ensure all trading requirements with marketing from promotions through social media content are met in an accurate and timely manner.
 
Experience and skills
  • Leadership experience in a Racing or Sports Trading environment
  • Proven ability to grow a wagering Business
  • Expertise in pricing sports games and sports bets
  • Expertise in client analysis and customer stake management
  • Great knowledge of US betting market and customers
  • Experience in sports product/project management
  • Great leadership
  • Self-starter
