About The Role

GVC and MGM, two global gambling leaders, have joined forces to form an exclusive joint venture with the aim of building the number 1 US sports betting and interactive gaming company. We are now seeking an experienced, highly organized, technology program manager to help us deliver the many projects involved in setting up and operation of this exciting new venture.

Main purpose of the role:

  • Leads, guides, coordinates and supports projects and project teams through managing day-to-day operational aspects of a program.
  • Tracks, documents and reports all planning, executing and controlling aspects of a program.

It is an opportunity to get involved in the quickly growing US sports betting industry and Work with the GVC/MGM joint venture – a combination of two global gambling leaders;

You will manage complex and business-critical projects, involving cutting-edge high-performance technologies and best-of -class products, as well as teams across multiple countries.

A background in betting and/or gaming industry is strongly desirable.

Primary Responsibilities:

Main:

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet needs and requirements
  • Establishes an effective project organization and communication structure
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a projects delivering within scope, budget and time
  • Reviews deliverables including status reports and other project documents
  • Facilitates and guides the project teams effectively
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Mitigates project risks
  • Sets and manages stakeholder expectations
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to stakeholders and senior management, delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Inspires co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence
  • Complies with and effectively applies the Roar project management methodology and enforces project standards

Occasional:

  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Manages the process of innovative change effectively
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

Knowledge/Expertise/Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Significant gaming and poker operations experience.
  • 6+ of experience in a project management role.
  • Demonstrate hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders demonstrating a holistic business view.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Display strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in English.
  • Possess a university degree or proven equivalent experience.
  • Managed large scale projects across multiple time zones and cultures.

Desired:

  • Broadly familiar with GVC organizational structure and technology (both platform and product).
