About The Role

GVC and MGM, two global gambling leaders, have joined forces to form an exclusive joint venture (ROAR Digital) with the aim of building the no.1 US sports betting and interactive gaming company. 

We are now seeking highly experienced, organized and results focused individuals to join this start-up, whom will be working with and influencing both parent organizations in addition to working with 3rd parties. 

 
 
We are now seeking an experienced, highly organized, technology manager to help us deliver the many projects involved in setting up and operation of this exciting new venture
 

What you'll do 

 
  • Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to plan projects and develop roadmaps
  • Manage diverse stakeholder groups ensuring alignment, and clarity on roadmaps
  • Manage overall system integrations and development activities of technologies
  • Provide technical assessment on all system or development partners
  • Provide technical feasibility study and industry technology benchmarking for technology
  • Manage engineering teams and vendors to develop technical specifications of the platform
  • Manage testing and validation of the service systems
  • Lead post-launch technical troubleshooting, product change implementation
  • Manage data collection from the platform and 3rd parties
  • Recommend technical improvements to enhance the platform and introduce new features
  • Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop and continuously improve technologies
  • Business intelligence insights reporting to key decision-makers in the organization
 
 
Your Skillset
 
 
  • Master s degree is a plus
  • 6+ years of experience in engineering, information technology or related fields in gaming
  • 1-2 years in a technical leadership position
  • Experience developing and managing a digital solution (e.g. Mobile App, website)
  • Successful track record of managing diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience coaching, leading and developing a team
  • Hands-on and willing to code or develop system architecture if needed
  • Strong knowledge in SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and requirements specification creation
  • Familiar with different testing and validation strategy and methodology
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal relationship skills, especially with cross-functional teams
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to stay on top of the newest technology and technology enablers in the automotive and high-tech industry
  • Experienced in vendor management
  • Business analytics experience is a plus
  • Works well independently with little to moderate direction
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Good understanding of system architecting
  • Must be flexible to scheduling needs
