About The Role

GVC and MGM, two global gambling leaders, have joined forces to form an exclusive joint venture with the aim of building the no.1 US sports betting and interactive gaming company.

 

We are now seeking highly experienced, organized and results focused individuals to join this start-up, whom will be working with and influencing both parent organizations in addition to working with 3rd parties.

 
Reporting directly to the Director of Product, the Product Marketing manager will have overall product ownership of the digital portfolio’s tagging, analytics, acquisition tools, CRM tools and various other ad-hoc product marketing initiatives.
 
The person will govern all existing tagging and analytics so that quality is maintained.  Furthermore, they will collaborate and devise all future scope in these areas so that it continues to be developed and leveraged correctly by the relevant departments.

The person will proactively research industries, market trends and competitor reports to gain a full understanding of competitors and other markets in order to initiate new product marketing focused ideas, technology and thought methods.  Furthermore, the person and his team will be expected to identify gaps in marketing abilities and lead on product development to close those gaps.

The Product Marketing manager will play an instrumental leadership role in the design, integration and expansion of a group wide Data Management Platform (DMP) in order to enable more effective marketing across all brands and third-party channels.  Furthermore, they will be the expert and thought leader who can educate the wider product team on the effective use of marketing platforms in order to enhance the product portfolio and customer experience.

As a Product Marketing manager you will be highly visible and will play an important leadership role within the Digital business. As such, you will have the opportunity and responsibility to help monitor and shape the performance of the business, taking on critical challenges and contributing to the overall strategy and success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the product marketing agenda, that will enable the marketing department to be more effective in investments and hence drive growth for the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments; in particular Marketing, CRM, Affiliate management, BI, IT, Trading, customer service and operations
  • Provide development, coaching, objectives and goal setting, performance management and other people policies as required from time to time; ensure team is motivated, productive and fully  compliant with all regulations and legislation
    Co-ordinate the tactical and strategic product roadmaps to cover both short and long term business requirements
  • Look to deliver operational efficiency through product automation where possible at every opportunity, and also ensure that products are robust when launched, minimizing the impact on Customer Services
  • You will manage the various suppliers of products and steer product development goals and objectives to maximize the return of all investments
  • Support delivery across multiple brands optimising the product development strategy to balance common product development and brand ability to differentiate in the marketplace. The ideal scenario is to build once and deliver across all brands
  • Develop the team’s skills throughout, to ensure Roar digital increase their capabilities by having the right mix of technical skills and business experience, teamwork and communication to deliver within the sector and environment
  • Encourages communication and collaboration across the business, team and stakeholders in order to build strong relationships and develop cross functional working
 
 
 
Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics or Business, an advantage but not a must
  • Advanced English level, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Google Analytics, Adobe Target, CMS tools, Optimove, Exact Target, 3rd Party Conent tools, Tag Management & Data Management Platform (DMP) tooling experience
  • Strong understanding and proven experience of data management strategies
  • Significant experience of A/B & MVT testing and tooling
  • Strong background in business intelligence (BI)
  • Experience as a senior leader in a product-focused technology business which is driven by quality and customer service
  • Previous experience leading and developing a product management and marketing function in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to delegate, prioritise and manage a considerable workload
  • Sound financial and budgetary management and solid commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to think strategically whilst achieving results in immediate area of responsibility
  • Excellent communicator able to communicate at all levels and adopt a flexible & consultative approach
  • The ability to adapt to a changing business and market place
  • Ability to think creatively and exploit business opportunities
  • Ability to work on a number of different activity streams concurrently
  • Significant Sportsbook/Gaming industry experience
  • Significant Online marketing experience in acquisition, conversion, CRM, SEO, ASO and optimisation
